Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2022

Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2022

Lead Investigations is proud to announce its commitment to enhancing global cybersecurity success by participating as a Champion for Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2022

This year’s Cybersecurity Awareness Month, set for October, emphasizes the increasing importance of cybersecurity in daily life. It aims to empower individuals and businesses to take accessible cybersecurity measures, including in Cambodia.

Lead Investigations, established in 2004, joins as a Champion for this initiative, which promotes cybersecurity awareness and best practices worldwide. The program involves collaboration among businesses, government agencies, universities, nonprofits, and individuals to educate others on online safety.

As technology integrates more deeply into daily life, the speed of technological evolution parallels the efforts of cybercriminals to compromise personal and business technologies. Cybersecurity Awareness Month addresses these challenges and offers practical guidance for creating a secure digital environment.

Key focuses for Cybersecurity Awareness Month 2022 include recognizing and reporting phishing, promoting the use of password managers, enabling multi-factor authentication, and advocating for regular software updates.

Now in its 19th year, Cybersecurity Awareness Month aims to provide comprehensive information to foster a safer online environment for everyone. Lead Investigations supports this initiative co-led by the National Cyber Security Alliance and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
